Roger Robar is homegrown in everything he does, still living in  the same town whose high school he graduated from in 1955. It  comes as no surprise that his favorite class in high school was  art which he excelled in. It is also no surprise that this love  shows in everything he does. He has been married to his high  school sweetheart for 48 years and has two sons. Roger is the  surviving member of a set of identical twins.

Roger worked for Whitney?s in Franconia for 37 years and has  countless hours as a volunteer for AHEAD?s Neighborworks. He   served on the Executive Board of Lisbon Main Street, Inc. He was  the recipient of the 2005 Dwight K. Taylor Award for community  involvement. His commitment to the community was again  acknowledged in 2005 with an Excellence Award from the NH Main  Street Center in Concord and in 2006 when he received the  Outstanding Volunteer of the Year Award from Lisbon Main  Street, Inc. The Town of Lisbon also dedicated its 2007 Town  Report to Roger in recognition for his thousands of hours in  the Restoration of the Historic Lisbon Railroad Station.

With the Railroad Station project complete after five years;  Roger is ready to devote much more time to his love for  photography. Roger specializes in New England scenic views  but also enjoys other aspects of photography such as time  exposures. Roger is learning new techniques that his up-graded  Canon digital photo equipment can provide.
